The hotel is excellently located in the heart of Dublin. 2 min walk from Grafton St., Stephens Green shopping centre, Gaiety theatre. 10 min walk from Temple bar. Friendly and helpfull staff. Clean hotel.
Mentioned Free parking on website however this was only untill 11am after which we were charged. I'd prefer to know exact costs of parking rather than finding out later.
A small but comfortable and quiet city hotel. Quiet room, adequate size, well furnished, with good temperature adjustment, iron, and tea/coffee making. Good bathroom. Central location. My second visit.
Breakfast selection limited but good at continental level.
Great Location within walking distance of everything. Really friendly and helpful staff who gave us an "insiders" guide to Dublin. Everyone went out of there way to make our stay special and welcoming. Rooms were spacious and spotlessly clean and everything worked! Would definitiely stay here again if back in Dublin.
Beside the Stephens green parking centre and next to grafton street
The walls are paper thin, and we could hear the people next door, word for word
nice rooms, graet shower, none smokling
no hot water in the morning but was compensated with late cheack out and free breakfast
excellent location (very suitable for Gaiety theatre ). Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely cosy fire in bar.
A bit dis-organised housekeepingwise, but the staff sorted out our problems very quickly
location is excellent, and the room was ok, except for a few holes in the duvet cover. the only problem was that there was no hair dryer in the room, (the oldfashioned one in the bathroom was broken) so we asked reception to give as a new one with no joy. we stayed 2 nights and there was still no sign of the hair dryer....
attitude of the staff is appalling, we stayed 2 nights and asked for a hair dryer, and one night they did not have any, and the next day promised to call back if one was available. nobody called us back, and we tried to call reception 2 or 3 times, and then had to go downstairs to reception, just to see receptionist completely ignoring our calls. She was not busy, there was nobody at reception, she just chose not to pick up!
friendly staff, very central location, spacious room
I found the price rather high for the quality of the hotel (relatively old building, will soon need new furniture, problems with hot water taps
excellent location staff were friendly and helpful especially Arti
shower temperature was difficult to conrtrol probably because of the old plumbimg system.
Located close to all of the places I wanted to visit south of the river, and so close to the beautiful parkland of Stephens Green and the shops.
The location to the green, shopping and great food was excellent.
You can hear a lot of noise from the street from time to time, also the plumbing was not that great. The toilet made a loud humming noise when you flushed it and the water went from hot to ice cold and back to hot.
All the staff was very helpful and willing to answer all my questions. I never felt like I was being a bother. They called a cab for me when needed and I had daily wake-up calls that were always made on time. They always did what they could to help with directions or information. Thank you!
I had a bit of trouble finding the hotel. It was around a corner from a main area. However, once I found it getting to and from areas of Dublin was quite easy.
Location, location, location.
The hotel has only recently become a Travelodge. They are obviously making efforts to improve, but the place is in need of a refurb. There were broken and dirty tiles in the bathroom, the odd hole in the wall. The cleaning regime is non-existent - we were there for three days and, in that time, the beds were straightened, but no cleaning was done.
Proximity to the shopping centre of Dublin, easy access to Temple Bar. We stayed I the triple room, it was great, lovely size, bathroom large and bright great power shower with loads of hot water. would stay again
Entrance area a bit sparse and bar/ eating area drab.
The room was V. good. The location was excellent. The price was great with booking .com. If you go to car park after 5pm it costs only 6 euro. Its 16 if you park earlier, this is a special rate for the hotel. T guing
